This Saturday, July 13, visit The Paper Store at 203 Airport Plaza to learn about fire safety and contribute to local causes. Join local firefighter Vinny Timmons while he talks about two books near and dear to him; A Firefighter’s Christmas and Firefighter Charlie. Kids can learn about the importance of fire safety and the men and women who help keep us safe from fires.
Attendees can purchase either book and receive a fire hat and a sticker that says “practice fire safety” with a picture of firefighter Charlie. A percentage of each purchase will be donated to charity. Purchases of A Firefighter’s Christmas will go to St. Jude’s, and purchases of Firefighter Charlie will contribute to the New York Firefighters Burn Center.
