On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Roslyn School District hosted its first-ever NYS Field Band Conference home show at noon at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on the LIU Post Campus in Greenvale, NY.
The show, called “The Sound of Long Island Spectacular,” featured ten performing groups from all over Long Island, including Roslyn’s Marching Bulldogs.
The Marching Bulldogs not only won first place in the Small School 1 category but also won high caption awards in General Effect Music, General Effect Visual, Field Music, Field Visual and Ensemble Visual.
